1st Annual Family Fun Day at Independence Day Festival, July 7th
The Municipal Drug Alliance of Buena Vista, Buena Borough and Weymouth Township in conjunction with the Governor’s Council Against Drug Addiction is proud to present its first ever Free Family Fun Day at the Buena Vista Township Independence Celebration on July 7, 2018.
This year’s Independence theme is honoring our local heroes and the Municipal Alliance is excited to partake in the festivities because this alliance believes that “Real Heroes Don’t Do Drugs!”
A special Alcohol free area will be designated on the front softball field of the Michael Debbi Park for field games like Spikeball and Cornhole.
There will also be competitive gaming and an obstacle course for kids, friends and family to prove their skills and win hero-worthy prizes.
A special arts and crafts tent will offer some shaded fun for kids to transform into little superheroes by decorating superhero themed capes, masks, shields and posters.
And for an All-American tradition locals will be able to register and compete in our Red, White and Blue pie Eating Contest. Two age groups will be able to compete and the winner of each category will claim the title of the 1st Annual Municipal Drug Alliance Pie Eating Contest which comes with a beautiful trophy to take home and brag about!
So come out and join us this July 7th. The fun begins at 3 pm! Need more information? You may contact the Municipal Drug Alliance Coordinator, Gia Haws, at 856-697-2100 X7 or ghaws@buenavistanj.com
