Memorial Day Ceremony – May 26th

Save the date for Monday, May 26 at 11am, when we will unite as a community at the Municipal Building to remember, reflect, and show gratitude towards our countrymen and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for all of us.

Lets stand together to reflect on the strength these heroes have given to our community. We hope to see you all there.

Free Summer Concert Series Starts June 18th

We know it’s still chilly out but warmer days are on the way – and so is our Free Concert Series! Get ready to enjoy live music, great food, and summer vibes under the open sky.

The fun begins with a Juneteenth kick off concert at the MLK Center on Wednesday June 18th.

After that, the party moves over to Michael Debbi Park for the rest of the summer!

Entertainment this year includes: Lonnie Youngblood, DJ Nicky G, Kevin Grace, Group Therapy, Poor Mouth Henry, The Bitter Sweet Duo and Duck & Cover.

The concession stand will be open at 6 and bands will start at 7.

Mark your calendars and start dreaming of summer nights filled with great tunes and even better company!

Mentoring Mother’s Day Breakfast @ MLK Center

Join us for a special Mentoring Mother’s Day Breakfast – a morning of connection, celebration, and appreciation for the amazing women in our community!

Enjoy a breakfast of delicious omelets while surrounded by the beauty of fresh flowers.

The celebration begins at 10 am Saturday, May 3rd at the Dr Martin Luther King Community Center, 661 Jackson Road, Newtonville.

Share stories, laughter, and encouragement with fellow Mentoring Mothers in the community. We can’t wait to see you there!

April is Earth Month in BVT

We all know Earth Day is great, but a whole Earth Month is better!

In celebration of Earth Month we will be accepting bulk trash drop offs every Saturday in April between the hours of 8am and 12 noon.

Items accepted include appliances, metals, used motor oils, brush/leaves in biodegradable bags, bulky rigid plastics, recyclables, E-waste, and up to 4 tires with no rims.

Items that will not be accepted include construction, demolition, lumber, concrete materials, hazardous materials and paint.

It’s all happening at the Buena Vista Township Public Works Facility located at 430 Union Rd in East Vineland.

Independence Day Festival & Car Show

Rev up your engines! The Buena Vista Township Independence Day Festival is gearing up to be one hot ticket!

Join us for a star-spangled day of classic cars, food trucks, and patriotism, featuring local vendors and music by DJ Nicky G.

It’s all happening Saturday, July 5th from 11 am-6pm at Michael Debbi Park in Richland.
